St. Joseph's, Withnell, Year 6

In early June just after our Half Term, we began our final term working with St Joseph's from Withnell.

On this day we looked at the theme of ‘It was then that I carried you’ which for the more familiar of you is a line from the famous ‘Footprints’ poem which was written by Mary Stevens in the 1930’s!

We started our day thinking how as a class and community we can trust and support each other and we did this by doing trust activities such as trust falls! Moving on with our day we developed the idea of how God supports us through all our difficulties and that the people and things around us that help us all come from God!

We ended our time together as always with prayer, offering up anything that may have been on our minds and placing them in God’s hands.
